  I went yesterday for the first time and I was impressed. I normally stick to what I’m comfortable with because I have had horrible experiences. But wow! This place was very good, it’s a small place but I think once the word keeps spreading, they will need to expand. I wish they had one in Manteca... I’ll be back to bring my kids :)

  #1 Dan's is the best BBQ in Modesto! I come here with my boyfriend at least 3 times a month and we have never been disappointed.

  I've had the ribs, tritip and pulled pork as combos-- all delicious !!! Tonight I had the pulled pork with garlic fries--so good,!!! Sometimes​ on Sundays I've caught myself thinking let's go to Dan's and get bbq. They are closed, as it is family run they need a day off.
